My wife and I had two delicious dinners at La O. The skirt steak in mushroom sauce was fantastic (and ample) as were the stuffed mushrooms with chorizo, and the beet salad with feta. The grouper was also quite good. We enjoyed the outdoor eating area within the restaurant.
Lovely spot in Old San Juan. Warm and friendly atmosphere with cozy seating options and decor with character. The pizza options can be a little overwhelming, but the ones we picked were great - and the grouper skewer was lovely, great texture. Lavender cocktail was fun too, with the garnish being lit on fire. Great attentive service and a good experience.
Most of the restaurants in Old San Juan were packed, and La Ó was able to accommodate us with no reservation. All four in our group were vegetarian and there were SO many items on the menu. Cocktails and mocktails were great- specifically their ginger & lavender lemonade. We got the hummus and arancini to start, then shared a pumpkin pizza, beetroot pasta, and beetroot salad. The food was amazing and I was happy with how flavorful our vegetarian dishes were. I was also impressed by how unique their menu was. Lots of dishes I had never seen before! Our server was great!! When we initially got seated at 6pm the host did warn us there was a reservation at 7:30 (it was holiday season). We did not feel rushed at all and our food came out at a decent pace. I would definitely recommend this spot specifically for vegetarians, but anyone who is looking for a great Italian spot with an interesting menu in Old San Juan.
Friendly staff, amazing food, great cocktails! You must get the beet soup and the chorizo stuffed mushrooms! We stuck to tapas, but the salads and pizzas looked amazing. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Old San Juan
Visited with local friends and had a refreshing experience in both food & drinks and enthusiastic service. All we ordered was on point; food and drinks. These people do care. Beautiful ambiance inside.

Las papas trufadas están exquisitas, las mejores de OSJ.., las encuentras en La Ó...! La combinación del ambiente junto a su energía, el servicio, las atenciones por parte de todo el personal hacen que permanezcas allí ..! Recomendado! La coctelería es a otro nivel!
While a little on the pricier side this is the perfect spot for a sit down dinner. The food was the best we had in Puerto Rico and the drinks were good. Their pizza oven wasn't working which sucked but had a good time.
I came on a Thursday evening and got seated immediately. The food came out quickly but wasn't done cooking. I asked for medium well salmon but part of it was still undercooked. I got a side of fries that weren't crispy and needed more cooking time as well. Overall the flavors were good and service was friendly.
